When can we come to the farm to visit the petting zoo or pet horses?

Visits to the petting zoo are $5 a person.  Appointments must be made in advance.

At what age can kids begin lessons?

Every child is different but some children may be able to begin at 3.

What do I need to wear to ride a horse?

We recommend long pants and a boot with a heel to keep it from sliding through your stirrups.  All riders on the farm must wear a helmet.  You can bring your own or you can borrow one.

How can I prepare for a visit to the farm?

Always wear close-toed shoes.  A little bit of rain can cause a lot of mud so boots are recommended or older shoes.

Can I feed the animals?

We ask that you do not feed any of the animals without permission.  We have some horses with health issues that can become seriously ill if given apples or carrots.  If you come to a party we can allow you to feed those who are able to eat treats.
